At A Glance
The Hydrogen Power Seam is the top of the range suit from Prolimit; designed specifically with kitesurfers in mind it features a double layer Air Flex 500+ neoprene that is durable, warm and most importantly stretchy. All the seams are sealed using Power Seams, which are a type of fluid weld. The chest panel features a single lined area of neoprene for warmth and the legs have flush panels and Velcro straps to eliminate the dreaded elephant leg.
On The Water
The neoprene used in the suit is of a very high quality and you can feel how supple it is when you pull the suit on, the Power Seams stick a little to the skin, as you pull the suit on but once inside the suit feels supple, it’s a 5/3mm offering so not too thick, but it does offer plenty of warmth. The leg flush works brilliantly as do the semi-integrated straps that attach to the suit so you should never lose them. The Hydrogen kept us dry for the most part too, super tight seals on the wrists ensure no water entered the suit there and the neck seal was very good as well. Definitely a suit capable of keeping you warm throughout the winter!
