At A Glance
The Mystic Crossfire is one of the warmest suits they make, but with a price that isn’t too scary. In fact when you look at the tech going into the suit, it’s an absolute bargain. The Crossfire features a double lined bottom half for durability and a single lined top half to keep the wind chill to an absolute minimum. The lower leg features Mystic’s clever Aqua Flush system so you won’t ever get “elephant” legs again and there are Velcro closure straps as well. Inside the suit you’ll find a plush jersey to keep you warm, plus 60% of the suit is made with their high quality M Flex neoprene, their most supple in the range.
On The Water
The Crossfire is a very easy suit to get on and off, being traditional in its back zip system. We also found it very warm and loved the single lined top half; this really cuts the windchill on those cold days down to a minimum. The seals on the ankles and wrists are good too and the neck seal is very comfortable. We didn’t suffer from water ingress even in the harshest of wipeouts. While being quite thick at 6/5/4mm the use of the M Flex neoprene keeps the suit supple without it being cumbersome.
Overall
A great suit at a great price, the Crossfire is packed with features, very warm and well made. Definitely one to consider!
