ION’s Amaze slogan this season is all about how it embodies women who always take their chances, express their style, and are fun and confident, and this suit couldn't be more suitable!

When I first unpacked the ION package, my jaw dropped. The vibrant colourway is the most stand-out feature of the suit and is guaranteed to make heads turn at the beach! I've had ION wetsuits for a while now, and they’re built to last and are of high quality and attention to detail. With this suit, ION has again lived up to its name by delivering a premium product. The more you look at the suit, the more you notice the intricate details.

Putting the wetsuit on was easy; it’s super stretchy, and the Hot_Stuff 2.0 lining is a dream. It's one of the most flexible thermo linings I've tried on, making it comfortable to wear for as long as you want. The Silk_Stuff interior lining adds comfort against your skin while being impressively durable and flexible.

On the Water

Despite my initial concerns about wearing a 4/3 wetsuit in the North Sea (even at the beginning of summer!), the stretchy Hot_Stuff inside lining was a game-changer. It effectively retains heat in the most critical areas, making sure I stay warm without compromising flexibility. This is essential for early morning sessions when the water is even colder! The wetsuit is designed for temperatures ranging from 12°C to 17°C, making it ideal for summer sessions in the North Sea.

The back of the wetsuit has a quick-drying Plasma_Plush, which increases warmth and offers protection against wind chill; this is a game-changer. I was able to stay comfortably on the water for longer. The Drain_Holes were another big one for me; kiteboarding in the North Sea can get choppy, and dealing with elephant legs is the last thing you want!

Overall

Overall, the Amaze Core 4/3 Front Zip is a solid wetsuit that combines performance, comfort, durability and style! I’ve said it before, and I still stand by it! ION’s wetsuits are built to last, and this one, once again, is a big yes from me—highly recommended.
