Prolimit have had a female specific harness in their line up for quite some time now. 2015 offers us two; the Pure Eve and the Pure Edge. We have had the Pure Edge on test which is aimed at the freestyle girls out there.
The Pure Edge first off is incredibly lightweight, you hardly notice you are wearing it. It has a larger back and side support, which offers maximum load coverage, and also is made with insanely comfortable padded neoprene.
The harness has been pre-curved and 3D shaped to provide ultimate comfort and support for your back.
Prolimit harnesses have a 4 point neoprene belt system which ensures the harness is suitably tight before even thinking about the spreader bar. The Slide In bar pad is incredibly successful and works perfectly for no riding up of the spreader bar, essential for all women! The spreader bar itself features the highly successful pin release making fastening and unfastening an entirely easy experience.
The harness is only tightened with 1 large webbing strap, but coupled with the Slide In bar pad, works very effectively. It is very important to get the webbing done up as tight as possible, as the harness can slip slightly. It must be mentioned that this does often happen with harnesses when they are new, as the webbing is often very tough but will loosen over time resulting in a much easier to tighten harness.
There are multiple leash attachment points, a kite line knife, and even a little pocket for your car keys!
Overall we were very impressed with the Pure Edge, it offered great all over support, is packed full of features and was super comfy, which in fact is the most important thing when choosing a harness.
