At A Glance
Nobile boards have become renowned for their high spec construction techniques, the T5 WMN is no different and features a honeycomb layer, ABS sidewalls, stainless steel inserts to name just a few. Shouting quality right off the bat.
The T5 WMN is pitched as a ladies progression board. It’s been designed with a flex pattern and stance width specific to a female rider and isn’t just a male board re-branded with pretty colours. In fact, the graphics and colouring are far from ‘girly’ with a stylish logo design that incorporates a little peek at the woodcore finish. Even the male contingent in the office was showing a significant amount of interest when this board arrived as it looks so darn good!
The “Click&Go” fin mounting system is now standard fit across the Nobile board range and makes attaching the fins a breeze on first setting up the board or when travelling as no tools are required.
On The Water
I was previously a fan of the Nobile 555 board and this is the next generation from that. I was keen to see how it performed in our local conditions of unpredictable and choppy waters and it’s safe to say I was not disappointed. The board is absolute bliss to ride. Fantastic grip has you upwind effortlessly yet at the same time it’s prefect amount of flex provides a super comfy ride. The board cuts through chop like a freshly sharpened knife and the deep rocker prevents you getting a face full of water spray as you do so.
Jumping is enhanced with a decent amount of pop, and the landings are friendly given the boards progressive freeride nature. Despite the sway towards the freeride category the T5 WMN caters happily for all disciplines and even the most advanced riders will enjoy hitting the water with this beneath them.
Overall
A brilliant board that will excel in almost any conditions you can throw at it from buttery flat water to mental chop. The improving beginner to the most stylish and talented rider will enjoy their time spent on the T5 WMN. This board will certainly be coming to the beach with us on future occasions. Very impressive performance.
