At A Glance
Jaw droppingly good looking the Nobile NHP WMN is sure to find it’s way to more than a few ladies feet this summer. It’s refreshing to see a company like Nobile working so hard with its woman’s range. This year there are 2 designs, the NHP WMN which is the high performance board and the T5 WMN which is a more freeride orientated machine. Both designs have 3 different sizes so there should be something to appeal to you from the range. The NHP WMN features the 3-D construction mould that we first saw on the 50Fifty, it has to be seen in the flesh to be believed, as images and video really don’t do it justice. These boards are not flat, they have a 3-D mould manufacture process that puts channels into the underside and give the board grip as well as amazing chop handling abilities. 5cm G10 fins and Nobile’s excellent footstraps and footpads finish off the package nicely.
On the Water
We had a few girls try this board out and once they stopped gushing over the graphics and got it on the water they were all impressed. The flex and channels combine to give the board a very smooth easy ride and the top end speed is impressive too. Women are very often much lighter than us blokes and as such they need a board that works accordingly. The pop is really good; the mid section is quite stiff with flexi tips that really help to throw the rider up into the air. One of the most impressive things is the grip the board has and it’s ability to point upwind. The channels and fins combine to make riding back upwind after performing tricks really easy. Lots of women will get lots out of this board. NHP stands for Nobile High Performance, don’t let that scare you though, the board is still easy to ride and forgiving.
For
Amazing graphics that appeal to women specifically. Female orientated flex and shape, excellent upwind and limitless pop.
Against
Nothing really, everyone who tried it loved it, don’t be afraid of riding the larger size like we had on test, it will be easier to ride, more forgiving and get going earlier.
Overall
Awesome finish and quality combine in a shape that makes riding a dream, no matter what the water state. Cuts through chop like butter and boosts as high as you dare when powered up.
