The MITU PRO BAMBOO offers the excellent MITU shape in a simplistic package, harnessing the outstanding properties of natural bamboo to create a board that is light, responsive, and durable.
Featuring a compact outline, the MITU PRO models maintain the DNA of the single concave. The unique shape facilitates early planing, instant acceleration, and provides stability and predictability in all conditions.
Over time, the shape of the MITU PRO BAMBOO has been refined with lateral flat sections on the bottom and a flat section between the front and back foot. The rocker line enhances edge control and overall performance.
The distinct swallow tail enables effortless turn initiation and easy carving. The balance between volume, stability, and float ensures that this board performs exceptionally well in the surf.
Constructed from efficient and reliable bamboo, the MITU PRO BAMBOO utilizes the natural properties of bamboo veneers. The board features a full bamboo layer on the bottom and two bamboo layers on the deck for extra reinforcement and durability.
This range includes five sizes ranging from 5’2 to 5’10. The larger sizes prioritize planing abilities and overall stability, while the smaller sizes prioritize maneuverability. All sizes share the same shape features but have specific outlines designed to maximize the energy of the wave.
Each board is equipped with a tail pad, foot strap inserts, and a set of Futures F4 437 Thruster fins. Additionally, adding a middle and front pad is possible if desired.
Bamboo fibers are renowned for their high resistance and lightness. The Full Bamboo construction utilizes the natural properties of bamboo veneers, sandwiched between layers of glass fibers to create a strong, durable, and lightweight shell for the entire board.
To enhance durability further, an additional layer of bamboo (Double Bamboo Deck) is incorporated into the stance area, ensuring resistance to localized heel pressures and dings. This results in boards that are light, strong, and responsive, allowing for countless enjoyable sessions.
