Ozone Kites | Axel Mazella Wins Defi Super Stars 2023 with R1V4 7M

Axel Mazella won the kitefoil class at the Defi Wind Super Stars event in St Tropez, France. He won four out of the five races, facing tough competition from Nico Parlier and Theo de Ramecourt. The races were long, covering 35 kilometres and lasting around 40 minutes. Mazella used an Ozone R1V4 7m kite and a Chubanga V3 500cm foil.
Managing his efforts and knowing when to go full speed were key factors in his victory. He had close battles with Parlier and Ramecourt throughout the races, with little room for mistakes. Mazella’s average speed during a race was 35 knots, with a top speed of 39.91 knots.
