It’s was last day in the Dominican Republic; unfortunately we didn’t get that much wind, but the last day delivered a solid 20knots. Unfortunately, in my over-excitement to get on the water, I nearly killed myself by landing on the beach and almost hitting a tree stump in the sand. It was very close to a nasty injury, broken back, or worse… always a reminder that things can always go wrong kitesurfing, never get too relaxed or comfortable with a situation, or it can take you by surprise! I was fortunate to get away with this un-injured…
