The Qatar Airways GKA Big Air World Championships were held in Tarifa in the southern Spanish state of Andalusia from 20th June to 6th July, the first standalone Big Air World Championships in kiteboarding that included twintip, strapless and emerging hydrofoil disciplines. It was also the first event since the GKA Kite World Tour partnered with Qatar Airways on a three-year sponsorship deal to help push kitesports to new heights!
