Searching the Lofoten Islands for a spot to kitesurf has been fun but challenging for Corey Symes. He shares one of his adventures with us in this edit — #WipeoutWednesday.
“I noticed this spot from a hike the previous week. It looked amazing from 500m up, so I went for a look. It was a tricky spot. Hard to get in and out through the rocks, and boulders were popping up everywhere. The wind was doing funky things; I think it was rolling around the headland a little. It might be worth a try if it was straight onshore, but then again, it would be nearly impossible to get out. So I might put this one down in the book as a miss. The epic view though looking across the mountains surrounding Flakstad and Ramberg.” – Corey Symes
