Sufficiently suited and booted up to withstand the winter conditions in the UK, Mike the Kite takes us on board for a session at Ramsgate!
It may not be the warmest and the sun might be hiding, but the conditions were amazing for the first session of the year. A north eastern wind direction is quite rare for us in Thanet, and it’s one that a lot of the locals look out for. My favourite spot to ride on this direction has to be Ramsgate, with the wind running along the shore and waves lining up down the beach it’s hard to beat.
It was an awesome session with plenty of air time and some nice loops off the waves. The wind was averaging around 30 knts but lacking at times for the 9m XR6. I really like the new Sensor 3+ Bar and am still waiting on the Sensor 3 Pro. One day it will come… one day.
(Sorry for the water droplets on the lens, it seems like the GoPro Max Lens mod doesn’t like rain)
