High alpine snowkiting at Jungfraujoch, located at 3740m above sealevel! Snowkiting amongst glaciers makes for stunning footage. However we don’t recommend you try it!
The next morning we were still not feeling better. After breakfast, we saw the new wind forecast: The wind could not come until the evening. So we decided to stay in the hut all morning. Sash took about 2 hours to beat a piece of bread, slightly pale in the face. Every half-hour we checked the wind measurement at the Jungfraujoch.
Will it be enough for a session? Does the wind only come when we are on our way home?
After lunch we suddenly saw 25 km / h on the wind measurement. Immediately we drove off from the Mönchsjoch hut to the Ewigschneefäld. Actually, we did not expect wind. But lo and behold, it has a perfect 20km / h wind. After 24 hours, our bodies got used to the altitude and we felt fit.
Sash immediately attacked the Walchergrat and was soon heading south. The wind made another break, but then he put on good 5bft, depending on the position.
Incredible: Direction southern Eigerjoch, Trugberg, Walcherhorn everything was suddenly possible!
