This year it was a close run race between the two big brands from Germany, Core and North, North took the prize in the end with Core a close second and Cabrinha coming in third. Best Board Manufacturer of 2017

We mentioned the rise of Core Kiteboarding up the rankings in the previous post and this year they scoop their first prize, with the Carved high-end range and the impressive Core range combining these boards are exquisitely made and work very well. Riders like Steven Akkersdijk use them to great effect and Joshua Emanuel won the Red Bull Megaloop Challenge on board a Core last year. An impressive rise up the ranks, is there an awakening happening out there with so many pro riders joining the team and the trophy cabinet getting bigger and bigger, it certainly seems like it. Well done to all the team at Core Kiteboarding!
