Virgin Kite Surfing Armada – Get Down Here!

Get down to the Virgin Kite Surfing Armada on Hayling Island in the UK this weekend, there’s loads going on! Sadly though the tough call has been made to cancel the World Record attempt, with offshore winds proving to be flukey, the organisers just can’t risk having 450 kiters out on the water, even with all the boats they have available. However, that doesn’t mean nothing is happening, far from it! All the action off the water is still going down, with all the new 2016 gear on display, bands playing tonight and tomorrow as well as the Industry Awards and lots of pro riders and kitesurfing celebrities checking the event out too.
It is totally free to come along and get involved so make the effort to be a part of the biggest event on the UK kitesurfing calendar!
If anything the cancelled record attempt means we can all have a lie in tomorrow and concentrate on having a great time as the largest gathering of kitesurfers in the UK gets underway. Right now the band is warming up for the Friday night with a DJ ready to play tunes into the small hours. There is plenty of on-site camping available and it is business as usual for the Armada!
