What is the longest session you have ever had kitesurfing? I think mine is about 5 hours, which was a marathon in itself, but 36 hours? Imagine that, 36 hours kiting, that is exactly what endurance kitesurfer Francisco Lufinha is doing this year when he rides from Lisbon to Madeira, a distance of 1000km! To train for it he had a session in a pool, standing on a kiteboard for 36 hours, thats no sleep, balancing on a board in a pool for 36 hours… Thankfully this clip is a lot shorter and more interesting than the full unedited version! Francisco’s record attempt will happen later this year and it is expected to take him between 36 and 43 hours to complete the crossing in the Atlantic Ocean!
