Kitesurfers: What we really do

This is real kitesurfing, it’s amazing, gritty and we all know there’s nothing to match the experience! Dom Moore and friends in Cornwall are driven by the same desire as the rest of us- but they’re blessed with spots that get awesome conditions, where the swells roll in from the Atlantic. Check out their day in the life and share the love. It’s camera phone quality and a little bit gritty but we think it perfectly catches the vibe.
“It is a strange, but beautiful way to live, storm to storm, swell to swell. How many other sports are there where you can laugh, cry and feel sick all before lunchtime? Nerves, banter, squally winds, rocks, shaking cameras and cups of tea; these things make up the experience for many of the world’s kitesurfers.”

My kite: Ocean Rodeo Prodigy. Worth a mention as it’s like an extension of me, 25m away up in the air.
