The Black Storm

The biggest storm we’ve ever seen ridden. Ozone rider Ryan Coote was the first rider to get out in the huge storm that has been smashing the coast of Ireland all week. While other riders looked on and waited for easier locations to become usable Ryan stepped out into the unknown in huge conditions.
“Yeah it was a heavy hitter for sure.I could see pretty early on that the waves were going to max out most of my normal spots but what was worst was I knew the wind was going to be very gusty and hard to manage. Learning how to ride storms is a tricky business. Especially angry black storms. It’s all about knowing where and when to ride. That only comes with experience and knowledge of our Irish Coastline. The power in the waves was insane. Really glad to have been able to get a good taste and feel of the black storm. I hope you enjoy this little taster video. Loads more to come in the next full length edit”
