New United States Kiteboarder Association Announced!
The United States Kiteboarder Association (USKA) has just announced its formation and official commencement of operations.
The US Kiteboarder Association is designed to be the largest rider-based kiteboarding organization in North America. With membership coming from the United States and Canada, the US Kiteboarder Association’s purpose is to organize kiteboarders in order to achieve common goals specific to riders.
One of USKA’s primary aims is to use its collective buying power to negotiate specific discounts for its members on gear, lessons, hotels, kiteboarding vacations, etc.
USKA partners with fitness clubs to promote kiteboarding fitness to riders, create kiteboarding-specific exercise routines, and to grow the sport by promoting kiteboarding to fitness club members.
USKA’s website has developed a public local kiteboarder directory which will allow kiteboarders to easily identify other kiteboarders in their area.
USKA has a webpage dedicated to publishing links of all active local and regional kiteboarding associations & organizations and USKA is beginning to add links to all kiteboarding schools and shops in the US and Canada.
USKA plans to form state and regional chapters to help riders work on local kiteboarding issues by supporting and working with other state and regional kiteboarding organizations that currently exist.
More information about the US Kiteboarder Association is available on its website which can be found at: http://www.USKiteboarderAssociation.com
