What do you feel to share this common passion between brothers and sisters?

M: It’s great to travel with my brother, firstly because he competes in the same sport as me, and second, because he is better than me. That is always good because we help each other, he always gives me several tips whenever I am training and after heats, and I show him a few things that I think could be improved too.

F: It is always good to travel with my sister. First we always help each other in the championships and in the training. Second she’s a woman and is able to see things that I often do not see. It is good to be able to look at how women and men do things differently and learn from that, especially when we are training and during competitions. She always helps a lot when we are traveling. She sees everything and solves things haha. She is much calmer than I am so we compliment each other.

What is your plan for the year competition wise?

M: I plan to get the greatest number of good results this year. I’ve been training for it since the beginning of the year, I’m going to do my best to win the World Title this year.

F: I really want the world title, and I’m going in search of that this year. I know that many also want it, what will differentiate the riders will be the training time and the will to win each event. I want to get the greatest number of good results and can show my performance in the water in the best way possible.

What is your best memory from kitesurfing?

M: It was when I was World Champion on the event in Peru in 2011. It was great because I love sailing in that place, has perfect lefts, and I’m always there coaching. So it was really quite satisfying for me to win there.

F: For sure the most perfect wave’s I’ve got in Hawaii last season.
