The Bridglets have just got back from South Africa and they did a load of filming while they were there. As soon as they got back they dropped the footage off with Mark “Ding” Glendinning from Super Saturated and had him cut this great edit.

Ding took a couple of minutes out to ask the young rippers about the trip…

Which spots in South Africa did you explore and what was your favourite for kiting?

Our favourite spots were Witsands and Breede River, both great for practicing our freestyle!

What’s the next trick you want to land?

Tom: I definitely want to get a shifty 7 in my bag of tricks!

Oliver: I’m working on a blind judge to blind.

Guy: Hoping to get my back to blind air pass nailed soon!

Any advice for kiters heading to South Africa to train?

Get out of Cape town – a few days here on small kites then head east. We loved the national parks & finding all the great places to ride along the garden route & Cape St. Franscais area. I dont think there is anywhere better than Witsands for freestyle though.

What progress did you make out there?

Tom & Oli: We both got our switch moves, then everything lower, more powered.

Guy: I made the huge step to air pass & nailed 2 in one day.

Looking at the video we see some synchronised kiting, are we going to see more of this in future from you guys?

All answering at the same time! Yes- this is really cool & looks great – for sure this will be an area of development in our riding together.
