Intriguing Beings Podcast – Episode 12 – Jo Wilson
Features / Mon 3rd Dec, 2018 @ 3:00 pm
It’s Monday, and that means it is time for Intriguing Beings! Rou’s sent this dispatch in from Australia where he can confirm the weather is a darn site better than back home! This week he’s talking to Jo Wilson, legendary freestyle kiteboarder who placed 4th on the world tour back in 2004! Since stepping down from her competitive career Jo has carved a niche for herself as a coach. These days instead of travelling the globe to compete she’s travelling the world to pass on her knowledge of the sport!
This is a great podcast where Rou and Jo talk about the old days and her early career, how she manages a family and a business and why we all as kiters need coaching, no matter how good we think we are. Rou also askes about her bonkers passion for cold water swimming too, and all before Finn wakes up and Jo has to go back into mum mode!
