Clement Hout has been a force on the big air scene for a while now and he’s just joined the Casatis over at the brightest brand in the industry right now!

Clement Huot, congratulations on your recent move to Harlem! What motivated your move?

I had a great experience working with Alex and Victor. They were very pleasant and professional, and the quality of their work on the material was truly impressive. When I used the kites for the first time, I immediately noticed how much easier it was to progress and have fun.

Harlem Kiteboarding stands out for its unique kites; what aspects of the company's philosophy resonate most with you?

The company appears to be very family-oriented, with a focus on two key aspects: first, their shared love for kites, just like mine, and second, their commitment to providing kites that are more affordable, efficient, and eco-friendly.

What are the key differences you've noticed in the Harlem kites when it comes to Big Air?

The word that comes to mind is easy! Going into 40 knots is always scary, but with these kites, everything becomes easier.

What kiteboarding tricks are you currently working on? Will we see some of them at Lord of Tram?

Triple loop and doobie contra board off double loop - I hope to have the conditions to do it again!

Have you and the Casati brothers had any training sessions together yet?

Yes, we've enjoyed good conditions at Barcares, and it's always a pleasure to be with them. They're always so smiling and pleasant—they're a great family!

How do you see the kiteboarding industry evolving, and what role do you believe Harlem Kiteboarding will play in its future?

They are innovative in the pursuit of better performance, and their advancements are transforming the sport of kiting.

What are your plans for 2024? Do you have any exciting projects you want to share with us?

This year, I want to return to the King of the Air and push my progress!

Thanks, Clement; we’re looking forward to seeing what the next chapter brings!

Thanks, Jen!
