It’s Tuesday, and that means Rou’s a day late with his Intriguing Beings Podcast! Actually, it was posted yesterday but due to his travel schedule and upload abilities, the post for it is going live today. This week is one of those rare episodes that involves some great tales but also the inside story on Dom Moore’s struggle with cancer. Dom was the editor of Kitesurf UK for a few years and currently edits SUP International Magazine.

He’s one of Britain’s most talented watermen and is incredibly comfortable in monstrous swells on his kite, surfboard and SUP. He was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma in April this year and it quickly escalated putting him to Stage 3. (Stage 4 is death’s door). Dom’s been battling hard, used his penchant for self-education to get a groundbreaking treatment and with a bit of luck this human will be kicking around the planet for some time to come.

Rou and Dom chat about two major changes in his life, the first one being his trip to Hawaii that set him on his waterman path, and the second being the big C that changed his life so dramatically this year. It’s a great listen, be sure to check it out and give it a share if you can!
