Job Requirements:
Innovative Research and Development:
- Conducting research and development projects for the innovation of sports articles
- Developing new manufacturing processes and processing technologies to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
Material and Technology Scouting:
- Proactively sourcing and scouting manufacturers and innovative materials
- Expanding the technological base and improving product performance
Material Evaluation:
- Careful selection and evaluation of new materials
- Enhancing the performance and durability of products
Production Optimisation:
- Comprehensive analysis and optimization of current production steps
- Goal: Shortening manufacturing times and increasing efficiency
Standards Development and Testing:
- Developing and implementing internal standards
- Designing test benches and procedures for efficient evaluation and validation of new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes
Collaboration with Production Sites:
- Close collaboration with production sites
- Seamless integration of new technologies and processes into the entire manufacturing process, from prototype development to mass production
Educational Background:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification with a focus on plastics engineering or production engineering
Experience and Expertise:
- Practical experience in the development of sports equipment
- In-depth knowledge of a wide variety of plastics and their properties
- Experience in selecting and processing suitable materials for the manufacture of sports equipment
Technological Passion:
- Enthusiasm for developing new technologies and innovations in plastics processing, material development, and the design of sports equipment
Product Development:
- Experience in the design, development, and implementation of new products and technologies
- Skills in conducting tests and prototype building
Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for technical challenges
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence to address complex technical challenges and find creative solutions
Communication Strength:
- Strong communication skills to clearly and understandably convey technical concepts and ideas both in writing and verbally
Willingness to Travel:
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners domestically and internationally to explore and develop new technologies and materials
