These youngsters are the future of British kitesurfing! Ever tried using a trampoline to practice your passes? This is just one of the many techniques that Jo Wilson uses as part of her 2015 Pro Kite Youth Training Program. This high quality edit features everything they got up to in the run up to the British Kitesurfing Championships in Southend.

This is the second part of the 2015 Pro Kite Youth Training Program run by Jo Wilson Coaching with the support of the BKSA.

The program is helping Tom, Toby, Cameron, Harry, Ben and Jemima develop their kitesurfing both on and off the water to help them ride harder, yet safer and take their kitesurfing wherever they want to go next.

Over these particular four days during July summer holidays Harry, Tom, Toby and Cameron, who had travel from all over the UK, immersed themselves in the competition, sponsorship and the pro kite training scene throwing themselves in to tricks both on the cable, kite and trampoline to help them develop their handle passing and unhooking skills. The editor of IKSURFMAG came down to meet them and team from the The Kite Show ran a piece on the riders in the latest British Kitesurf Championships video wrap up.

This program ran in the 2 days prior to the British Kitesurfing Championships giving Toby, Tom, Harry and Cameron the chance to meet industry leaders such as IKSURFMAG!, Kiteworld, Naish, Airush, Cabrinha, North, F One and more as well as to take part in the Juniors Category of the British Kitesurf Championships (BKC).

The young riders landed new tricks in their training and showed international judges at the 2nd round of the championships just what they can do. In return they were then treated to a 1:1 evaluation of their performance with the head judge so that they could then hit the water back on home surf and know what they need to train on next.

I think its safe to say that we are looking forward to the next round of the program taking place this Autumn and they are certainly beginning to hit the British Kitesurf Media by storm.

Many thanks to Boxhead Media who spent the 4 days following Tom, Toby, Harry and Cameron and has put together this great edit to show you what Southend was all about.
