Money is being raised to help rebuild Srilankakite after the devastating fire.

On the 27th of June, we suffered a major tragedy. A fire was noticed at the edge of our campgrounds.

The fire spread quickly throughout the camp and within thirty minutes, the whole place was burned to the ground. Luckily the wind dropped and spared our new camp extension. Our brand new kitecenter and the 5 new waterefront bungalows were not damaged.

But thanks to our amazing team and friends, the next day, the tears were replaced by a huge positive energy to move on, organize and rebuild.

Within 3 days the camp was cleaned and all the guests were relocated in new places we took in management and in the bungalows that were not affected by the fire.

This message is just to say that Srilankakite is far from being dead, our famous amazing atmosphere is still here and people can still come and enjoy their holidays on our beautiful spot.

We still need help to rebuild as fast as we can so people can still donate here: http://igg.me/at/a3XvYl6yliQ/x/11196056 and follow our adventures on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Srilankakite/116977881727932
